摘要：Wow Africa is an Africa information platform in Taiwan with the goal to promote the understanding of Africa through economic and cultural exchanges. It is also a platform to provide information about Africa to the general public in Taiwan. It bridges the gap between Taiwan and Africa and according to Pepe He Pei-Jia, co-founder and Editor-in-chief of Wow Africa, the media in Taiwan focuses on negative coverage of Africa and her NGO is to break the stereotype of negative perceptions about Africa.

She said, for example, Rwanda, which has been perceived as underdeveloped, has been plastic free since 2008. The African country completely banned the use of plastic bags while other countries started imposing taxes on plastic bags.

第二波疫情強襲烏干達，嚴厲防疫政策讓人人防疫意識大轉變
烏干達正遭受第二波疫情強襲，變種病毒傳染得更快。疫情在一個月內急速升溫，短短三個星期內確診案例增加了 17 倍。緊張情勢撲滅了烏干達民眾的希望——「新冠肺炎已經完全被控制了」。如果當地民眾不改變行為或加強防疫措施的話，在未來一個月內確診案例很可能會翻倍。為了防堵疫情持續擴散，烏干達政府祭出嚴厲的防疫政策和總統牌恐嚇手段，果真讓人人防疫意識大轉變。但是目前烏干達疫苗覆蓋率不到 1％ ，當地民眾何時能重燃希望呢？

布吉納法索在台灣是知名度不高的友邦，我也是因為工作的關係，才會知道世界上有個國家叫布吉納法索。斷交讓布國瞬間全台知曉，同時也瞬間被貼滿「愛錢、絕情、窮國」等負面標籤。我腦海裡閃過無數個在臺的布國朋友臉孔，還有每次斷交社群網路裡必定會出現的酸言酸語，我心疼他們還沒有機會好好地自我介紹，就先被冠上臭名。
